Second Session: Week 1

Greetings from the Nothwoods,

It’s been an incredible start to second session and we are so excited to share with some highlights from our first week together:

• A very successful cruising day where all the campers in camp passed their swim tests!
• The traditional reading of the Tajar Tales on the waterfront
• First couple of days of schedule activities with lots of firsts: campers getting up on skis, catching fish, and hitting bullseyes.  
• First trips heading out of camp
• Favorite meals included: grilled cheese and tomato soup, tacos, biscuits and gravy, beef stir fry, french toast sticks, and cookout.
• First Unit Night where the Harbor planned their Saturday night party, the Cape planned Sunday Service and the point worked on creating collages.  
• An amazing first week of packouts which included mountain biking, strawberry picking, fishing with Rob, campcraft challenge, riding, and a trip to a local nature center to learn about wolves.  

We can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the session!
