Chiara Armanni

Horseback Riding Assistant
Staff: First Year
Hometown: I was born in northern Italy, in Lombardy. I lived in 2 different villages both surrounded by fields, both in the Po Valley. At the age of 11, my parents decided to move to the south, to Sicily. Here I live in Carlentini, a small town founded in honour of Charles V, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The town is located on a hill on the plateau bordering Lentini, close to the plain of Catania, near Lake Lentini and on the slopes of Monte Pancali and the Iblei Mountains.
My name is Chiara and I am looking forward to spending this summer at Clearwater! I am currently working in a McDonald’s, but in September I want to start university of Foreign Languages and Literature to work in literary translation. I also plan to take courses that will allow me to work with horses. In my spare time I like to read, paint and try as many hobbies as possible, especially if they have to do with handicrafts. This summer I will be a riding assistant, I am looking forward to spending my days at the stables and helping teach children as much as possible about horses.
