First Session: Week 2

Greetings from the Northwoods,

It’s hard to believe that we are already halfway through first session! We have had an action packed week and here are some of the highlights:

First unit party hosted by the Point with an “Among Us” theme
A beautiful Sunday Service led by the Point with the theme: “The road back to camp”
A very special first Council Fire where we initiated our first-year campers, heard trips sparks and trip songs for our first two trips of the summer and handed out our first batch of pennant pins.
Amazing free activities including: yoga on the waterfront, hair braiding/hair wrap lessons, line dancing, paddle boarding, and flag football.
First muffin night with the theme of Macho Man Muffin Night
History Night with a panel of amazing alumni who’s years at camp dated back to the 1940’s.
Favorite meals included: english muffin breakfast sandwiches, waffles with berry compote, pita pizzas, stir fry, and grilled cheese and tomato soup.
A second week of fabulous packouts including mountain biking, pottery painting, campcraft challenge, tye/dye and sunglass decorating, and a regatta with some special alumni visitors.
